~1 Corinthians 10:31~

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31

Do all things to the glory of God. Whatever you do, even what we eat, and drink do as for the Lord. You may be wondering what does eating and drinking have to do with God. Well, our bodies are temples. When you accept the Lord into your heart the Holy Spirit comes and lives in you. We are to take care of our bodies just like we take care of ourselves spiritually and the relationships we care about deeply. God wants a deep and meaningful relationship with you also. One of the ways we can have that is by doing all things for the glory of Him.

Everything we do is for the Lord. What we say, what we do, what we think, what we eat, what we drink, and how we act. Everything all the time, we are to do as for the Lord. For His glory. For His purpose.

But thankfully the Lord doesn’t leave us to figure it all out on our own. No, He guides us and whispers in a still small voice in our hearts. The Lord knows this world is loud and chaotic, so what better way to get our attention then with a whispered word from Him. It makes us stop and listen, but we often times don’t hear His voice because we are so focused on the loud and chaotic-ness around us. If you really want the Lord to change you from the inside out, to have a deep and meaningful relationship with Him, stop and listen, and rest in Him. Do all things to the glory of God. Whatever you do, He will guide you, and help you to follow Him. So, let’s stop and listen to that still small voice today. 🙂
