~Galatians 6:9~

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

Let us not grow weary in doing good. It is easy to grow weary. To be so invested in something but in the end to grow tired and burnt out. To become weary and worn. We all fall short, fall into the trap of having to do more, to reach farther. How many times do us Christians fall into the trap of wanting to do good for God, but don’t really want to be there? To do what is right but are tired and just want to cry or runaway. I know that I have.

The Lord tells us not to give up, to keep our eyes on Him. That we will see the good in due time. We often do too much, and the Lord calls us to rest. We will grow weary and tired because we tend to go, go, go and forget that the Lord calls all of us to rest. To look to Him and to be still. To stop and breath. To give it all to Him and just relax in His embrace. Don’t give up in the good works that you are called to. But don’t forget to rest in Him. Because if you don’t, you will become weary and worn. You will feel like giving up.

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
