“For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” Psalm 91:11
Angels. Angels are all through the Bible, from beginning to end. They guide, protect, and deliver God’s justice. But in this particular verse they are guarding us.
There’s a saying “You must have a guardian angel.” But we don’t always believe it. But here it says He will command His angels concerning you. To guard us, to protect us. We don’t see them but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t there.
In verses nine and ten it says that if you make the Most High you’er dwelling, and the Lord your refuge He will protect you. No harm will befall you. He angels are sent to protect us.
The Lord loves us and wants what is best for us. Sending His angels to guard is one of the ways He does that.
In verses fourteen through sixteen He says that He will rescue and protect His children. He will answer when we call, will be with us in trouble, and show us His salvation. If these eight verses don’t show His love for us I don’t know what will.
Ok His son Jesus would. 🙂 God loves you so much that He shows us through His actions and promises from the Old to New Testament. Can you think of times that a guardian angel protected you? Or prayers that the Lord has answered?
