~Philippians 3:20 (Devotion)~

“But our citizenship is in heaven and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians 3:20

When Jesus died for us He made way for us to be with Him for eternity. When we accept Him as our Savior He makes a place for us in His Kingdom. He thinks of us personally. He no longer sees our sins but the gift that was given. We become citizens of heaven, the children of God.

We await the Lord Jesus Christ’s return. We don’t know when that is but we live each day like it’s the last. We should like He is returning tomorrow or even like He is returning today. That is awaiting a Savior the one King. That is truly living for Him. The Lord makes everyday new, He gives us new opportunities to live for Him each day. While we are waiting for Him, what is He asking you to do today?

~Till Tomorrow~

*Hey Everyone, I know this devotion is really short. But I felt like the Lord was telling me that I could write pages and pages but sometimes it is better to leave it short. So I left it short and sweet. It always looks even shorter after typing it out. I write my devotions in a notebook so it looks like more than it is once typed out. 🙂
