Here is a Amish prayer from my Amish prayer book I got from my Mama on Easter when I was 17. The book is called Amish Prayers, Compiled by Beverly Lewis.
“You know the hearts and shortcomings of all people, Almighty God and Heavenly Father. We ask you to give us your grace, O Holy Father in heaven, as we gather together and call on the name of Your dear Child, Jesus, our Savior.
Give us real faith and genuine love, O Father, with faithfulness and truth and the power of your Holy Spirit. Do this so we might – with our whole hearts, the breath of our souls, and willing minds – honor, fear, and love you above all things, O Father, and follow your commands until the end of our life. We ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.”
“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:13
